About

About Us:
At Orogen Design, we excel at designing and implementing projects that embody the principles of social ecology and contribute to the creation of a more sustainable and just society. Our work spans a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, urban design, landscape design, multimedia production, and community organizing.

We have particular expertise in ecological and regenerative design. We believe that it is possible to design human environments that enhance, rather than degrade, the natural world. Our team includes experts in ecological restoration, permaculture, and sustainable agriculture, who work with clients and communities to create landscapes and ecosystems that are both productive and biodiverse.

We believe that people should have a say in the design of their built environments, and we work collaboratively with communities to create designs that reflect their needs, aspirations, and values. Our team includes experts in participatory design, community organizing, and social justice, who are committed to creating designs that promote equity and inclusion.

We create multimedia projects that promote social and ecological awareness. Our team includes experts in film, animation, virtual reality, and other media, who use cutting-edge technologies to create engaging and informative content that inspires people to take action for a better world.

We aim to engage in projects that challenge the dominant paradigms of growth and consumption and promote alternative visions of a sustainable and just society. Our work is informed by the principles of social ecology, which emphasize the interdependence of humans and nature, and the need for decentralized, democratic, and ecologically sound communities.
